Jesus has this way of turning endings into beginnings and tombstones into stepping stones. I think Jesus might be less concerned with how we gather and more concerned with how we scatter. If we think we need a building to celebrate the resurrection, maybe our buildings have become our tombs. The tomb is empty, so are our churches. Jesus has left the tomb. Weve left the building. Hes taking resurrection power to every corner of every neighborhood. We should join him.
