Please pray for Paul Wenzel. His wife (Marlene) writes:
Paul has been diagnosed with bladder cancer and will have surgery next Monday, March 31st at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore. We would appreciate prayers for:
-He needs to go off of 2 major heart meds 5 days before surgery
-That the cancer/tumor is contained in the bladder
-That surgery will go well and we get good reports
-Treatment 5-6 weeks after surgery will be doable.

Please pray for Myanmar and Thailand. There was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that struck today, many buildings have collapsed and hundreds are presumed dead.
This catastrophe, with the civil war going on, the deadly destruction of Typhoon Yagi, displacement of 3.5 million because of the war, and the UN cutting aid for more than a million people next month, is beyond imagination. Myanmar needs a miracle from God the author of grace and mercy.

Please pray for my neighbor Suzy who has just completed 16 chemo treatments for breast cancer. On Thursday she will have imaging and scans to see if the tumor shrank and even better, disappeared. This family has 2 young school age children, so please pray for the whole family as well.

Please pray for a young woman named Aiden from the Pittsburgh area. My daughter was up with her for seven hours a couple of days ago because of suicidal tendencies.
She's been so abused sexually and physically for years by her parents and relationships. Aiden is in a holding area sleeping in a chair at the psych, hospital for the last 3 days, they are waiting for a room to open. My daughter is there now with some clothes and to comfort her.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Tera...she came home from the hospital Friday, and we are so thankful for that. She developed pneumonia while in the hospital, so we are praying that her lungs will clear up now. She's off work for the next two weeks to rest and heal.

I am trying to help a young couple with a 14 month old daughter, find housing immediately. They have been homeless on and off since November, staying varied places They thought they had a place in Clearfield that fell through at the last minute. Also their car broke down so I'm looking for help with that too. Please pray for this family that housing come through and the car can be fixed . She has exhausted all avenues and is ready to give up.

Sunny update: The results of the echo were good! Last Monday's procedure helped with the relaxation of Sunny's heart. They want to make some medication adjustments and take another Echo this Thursday to see how her heart is responding to that. Please continue to pray for healing for Sunny, wisdom and guidance for doctors and Sunny's parents and increased faith for us all. Thank you!

Please pray for Tera Moon...she spent Saturday night in the ER, and was admitted early Sunday morning. They are treating her for diverticulitis, which is bringing an incredible amount of pain. They are managing the pain and beginning antibiotics.

Update:
Naomi was moved to a rehab hospital here in Sarasota. She was doing really good in therapy until Wednesday when she developed a UTI that caused a lot of confusion and hallucinations.
She is improving each day! Thanks for your prayers!

Sunny update: One of the medications the doctors tried on Sunny helped with the squeeze of the heart, but not the relaxation. They are going to try a catheterization procedure in attempts to lessen some of the flow to her lungs. If her heart can improve, this should help. They have an opening on Monday, 3/10. Prayers that all goes smoothly & that her heart responds well are appreciated 🤍 Also, please continue to pray for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and Sunny’s parents. Thank you!

Please pray for my friend in Florida who is having another diverticulitis attack. The Dr said 2-3 attacks a year is excessive…….this is her 4th attack since December. I wanted to ask for prayer for my great niece, Nora Grace Gordon born on Feb 18th. Sweet little red head ❤️ Her Mom and Dad are Jessie and Nate Gordon. Nate is a State Trooper out of Rockview. They live in Bellefonte.
Nora was in Hospital ICU on Monday for RSV. She is out but is not gaining weight.
She has a toddler brother, Micah at home. He is good. Mom and Dad are getting tired and sick as well.

I’d like to thank everyone who has been praying for my neighbor Abbye. Unfortunately, her surgery didn’t relieve the pain. She has checked herself into a facility that will help her deal with both her mind and body. From what I can gather, she’s had numerous traumas and carries the stress of that trauma in her low back/pelvis. We had a great God conversation before she left. Please pray that God gives her a breakthrough for her whole person.

I would appreciate prayers for my sister Naomi...she was in FL on vacation and became ill. She's in the hospital in ICU. Her electrolytes were are all off. She has partial bowel obstruction and they are monitoring her heart as well. I flew down yesterday to be with her...she is stable this morning.

Please pray for my oldest son who is studying for his college finals ( last tri-mester!!) and today we are praying that a job lead he has will come through and he may get a job interview. My youngest son is struggling with his new trade job and is not happy. Long mandatory hours and they aren’t giving him a lunch or breaks and he is just exhausted and unhappy. Please pray that the union job he applied for comes through or he can find a better company or job that recognizes his God given talents. Thank you all.

Sunny update: Both the squeeze & relaxation of her heart are not as efficient as they once had been, and there isn't a clear indication as to why. A catheterization was able to give them numbers, and showed higher pressures. After taking the results to the Dr on service this week & the cardiac surgeon, they decided it best to start her on a medication that should help with the flexibility of her heart. This medication can mess with the rhythm and her blood pressure, so they only administer the drug in the CICU so they are able to keep a closer eye on her. The plan is to reevaluate next week to see what the team & surgeon are thinking, and go from there. Specific prayer requests: - For Sunny's heart flexibility to improve💪🏻 - For her parents hearts during the emotional roller-coaster. -Wisdom for the doctors -Increased faith Thank you!
