Our God is a consuming fire. Jesus baptizes us in the Spirit and in fire. When the first disciples encountered Jesus, their hearts burned within them. Are we on fire with his presence? Or have our hearts grown cold. No matter how dark the night or how cold the heart, were not far from the fire of God!
