To those who would follow after Him, Jesus says that you should choose obedience to Him over personal comfort, over other "good" things, and even over your own family when the two come in conflict. His followers will only be able to live this way by the power of the Holy Spirit, and by gathering regularly with a small group of believers for encouragement and accountability.
